About SLK

Partners in Finance

Paul Schneider and Alex Lawton co-founded SLK Capital LLC (SLK) in 2013 in response to the lack of conventional financing available in the aftermath of the 2008-2009 financial crisis. SLK addresses the needs of viable business seeking growth capital through asset-based loans, contract financing, consulting, and related strategic transaction services.

Having experienced the financial world early in their careers at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, respectively, Paul and Alex also have more than a decade of business experience as owners of Schneider Inc. and The C.A. Lawton Co. – each a family business with a long history of success.

The pair have been friends since childhood and today maintain a relationship through their families and businesses.

At the core, they take pride in providing resources for entrepreneurs to be successful.
